Cut your waercolor paper into a six-inch square or mark a large square in your art journal. Mask the edges with standard width washi tape, and create a window pane in the center with thinner tape. If you don't have thinner tape, cut your washi tape in half length wise for a thinner mask.

Let's fold up some fun origami cactus that won't stick you! These paper saguaro cactus in pots can be attached to a greeting card or stuck on a refrigerator with a magnet. All you will need are two square paper sheets, one for the cactus and one for the pot.

Tonia Jenny is back to show us how to crochet simple beaded necklace chains!
Supplies to have ready before class:
beads, 50–200 depending on the desired style (look for beads with a 1mm hole or larger)
clasp and crimp beads/crimper pliers (if making a shorter necklace)
crochet hook, small (1.25mm–2.25mm)
crochet thread or other fine cord/thread, approx. 1mm (synthetic recommended because it’s easier to thread through beads than natural fibers)
optional: jewelry glue/superglue

For centuries, cranes have been a symbol of peace, longevity, and good things to come. A folded chain of paper cranes can signify unity, family, and long-lasting friendship. Let's create a friend or family chain of cranes this Friday, January 22 and, at 2 pm MST.
All you need are several sheets of origami paper in any color, at least six-inches square. We are looking forward to seeing you this Friday!
Join us Monday, January 18th, at 11 am for another mindful doodling experience! Last week, we created doodle borders with watercolors and tape. This Monday, we will create circular shaped doodles using watercolors, and fine tipped pens. Bring your art journals, greeting cards, or watercolor paper along with your pens, markers, and watercolors for a fun, and relaxing class.

Toys aren't just for kids anymore! Adults are discovering that playing with toys creates joy and helps with stress relief. After all, we are all kids at heart, aren't we?
Making a toy from sheets of paper is very satisfying. Origami is known to have physical and mental health benefits, so let's make an interactive toy and have some fun too!

We will be folding colorful kaleidoscope spinning toys this Friday, January 15th, at 2 pm MST. You will need three sheets of six-inch square origami paper in an assortment of colors to make one of these delightful toys that kids of all ages will enjoy. For this Monday's live class, starting at 11 am MST, we will be creating circular doodles using simple repetitive shapes. Grab a couple of paper sheets, your art journal, a pencil, ruler, watercolors, and a brush, and lett's create something relaxing and fun!
Join us this Friday, January 8th, at 2 pm MST for some folding fun! We will be folding a cute shirt, skirt, and pants into a variety of fashionable outfits! Just cut several sheets of paper 3" x 6" or cut your standard origami paper in half. You can even use your paper money to make them, so bring some cash too. Origami clothes made with money make great gifts also!

We are starting the new year with a live class on making the classic crochet granny square! Granny squares are versatile and the base of various practical projects, from pincushions to purses to blankets!
This Monday, we will crochet two granny squares and a cute flower using standard weight yarn, then next week, we will construct an adorable pin cushion out of the pieces!
