The lily is delicate and beautiful, with different meanings depending on the color of the flower. The origami lily is a classic fold that is very elegant as well as sturdy. You can use it to decorate a table, a room or to embellish a gift.
To fold this lovely flower, you will need a sheet of paper 6" inches square. We will show you how to make a stem and leaves during class too!
Lilies have different symbolism, and meaning depending on their color. Read the article about it by clicking on this link.
Class begins Friday, 5/28 at 2 pm MST!
Creating zentangle inspired patterns is not only relaxing and rewarding; it is lovely. On Monday, May 24th, at noon MST, we will create realistic-looking polished gems and doodle around them to create a beautiful jewel-like design using colored pencils and pens!
Cut a piece of card stock about 3" or 4" square or have a blank page in your art journal. Get ready to have some relaxing, creative fun this coming Monday!
Mindful drawing, doodling, or zentangle inspired art is very relaxing and good for the brain and the spirit. Doodling can enhance eye-hand coordination and cognitive thinking, and anyone can enjoy it anywhere with a small investment of materials.
Listening to soothing music enhances the doodling experience. When doodling, try to let the music guide your drawing. See where the music takes you, and enjoy the moment.
