For the first Creative Crafting live event tomorrow, June 2nd, we will be doing a fun decoupage project! I love decoupage crafting because I can decorate almost anything I want with a few essential tools. It's fun to decoupage wood, glass, paper, and canvas using a few simple techniques. The objects can be round, flat, or just about any shape. In tomorrow's live class, I will show you how to decoupage a paintbrush, but you can decorate just about anything you want! Gather Your Supplies! If you already have supplies to do a project along with me, that's great! If you don't, please be sure to join as you will get all the tips and information you need to decoupage anything successfully. Also, I will be here to answer any questions that pop up! Modpodge glue (gloss or matte) white glue will work too! Decorative paper, printed paper napkins, origami paper or scrapbook paper Craft paint in any color Spray sealer or brush on water based varnish Scissors Flat bristle brush or glue brush Soft flat brush Something to decoupage: Flat panel, wood or paper box, glass bottle or jar, wood tray, etc. Get Ready to Have Fun!Before Fridays class, prepare the object you plan to decoupage by removing any rough spots with sand paper. Paint it with a couple of coats of craft paint and let dry. Cut out pictures, and or shapes from the paper you are planning to decoupage. If you haven't registered for the event, just hop on over to the event calendar and sign up! I hope to see you tomorrow! Comments are closed.
