The word mandala means circle in Sanskrit. The mandala has used for centuries in art and architecture. It is the perfect balanced design with no beginning or end. Creating mandala art is very relaxing, and it helps to focus and relax the mind. Come join the fun!We will be making mandalas on mini canvases for this Thursday's live event! The mini canvas is available at a hobby and craft store, as well as Walmart. They sometimes come with cute little wooden easels. If you don't have a mini canvas, a square piece of card stock will do. We will use stencils and dot making tools to create beautiful mandalas that you can display or give away. Grab some paper art tiles, mini canvas, or card stock four inches square, and let's make some mandalas!
