Join us Thursday morning bright and early at 7:30 a.m. MT to stitch up a custom ironing board organizer. The one shown was designed to hang off the end of the ironing board or across the board and can be rolled up for travel or storage. To craft something similar you will need to precut the following fabric panels prior to our sewing session on March 25: (Qty) (Width) x (Length/Height) (4) 12" x 18" Body Panels - two of which will become the top and should be backed with fusible fleece (8) 12" x 9" Pocket Panels - press top and bottom long edges over 1/2" (1) 12" x 9" Pin Cushion - back with fusible fleece + fill of your choice (3) 12" x 2" Fabric Ties - to secure pin cushion and connect the ends if using on the end of the ironing board Approximate finished measurements: 10.75" x 34" Drapes nicely over a standard ironing board (13" wide). Increase the length of your body panels if you have an extra wide ironing board. Share photos of your ironing stations below! Comments are closed.
